The Final Push

November 4, 2008

In case you’ve been living in a cave for the last two years, you probably already know that it’s election day in America. While I’m Canadian and can’t actually vote, I am encouraging everyone to vote for Obama because he is the candidate who will work hard for the middle class, pull the US out of economic crisis and an unfounded war. Obama will renew faith in America across the globe and tackle the difficult issues like poverty, health care and social security which have been largely ignored the past 8 years by the Republicans. I am cautioning all Obama supporters to ignore the polls that say the election has already been decided. It’s still critically important to get every last vote. Don’t sit back and get complacent. Remember that this is an historic day. And on January 20 2009, I will be there to watch the first African American President sworn in to office. Don’t you want to make that happen? Vote today and be part of history.
